- Deselect the checkbox to turn off access for that app. If you turn off access for an app, you're asked to turn it on again the next time that app tries to use your camera. If you allow third-party apps or websites to use your camera, any information they collect is governed by their terms and privacy policies.
- Access denied occurs typically, if your programm does not have write access to the Directory.
G'day,
It sounds as though your SMB system has a problem with authentication.. your internal drives are protected, but you probably have your external drives set to ignore ownership/permissions.
Are you connecting as a 'guest' or with user credentials?
If as a guest - make sure that the 'Guest' account in the Accounts Preferences pane has sharing enabled.
If as a user - have you changed a password recently? When you enable SMB, your password is copied and stored in a non-OS X standard form. It's possible that this copy is not correct.
To fix this - disable SMB on all accounts. Reboot. Then enable SMB on the accounts that you want to have access.
Cheers,
Rodney

If I understand correctly, you are unable to access certain websites on your MacBook Air. You can figure out if unexpected behavior is related to a user file or setting by trying to reproduce the issue from another user account. Mountainwatch - win, mac, linux mac os. This process includes creating a new user account, logging in to it, and testing for the issue. Future ghost (itch) mac os.
Access Denied (itch) Mac Os Catalina
